What is the cooling off period on my car insurance policy?

The cooling off period is 14 days from the start date of your policy or the date you take out your policy, whichever is later; this is for a new policy or a renewal policy with us. 
If you're cancelling your policy within the cooling off period after your renewal date, there'll be no administration fee to pay and you'll be eligible for a refund of any premium, as long as you've not made a claim during this period.
